Travis is a kind, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable instructor. He is constantly giving you information about the waves, water, and how to be a better surfer. He doesn’t just sit on his board and push you into a wave like many instructors do. To this day I’ll be surfing alone and hear his voice in my head. I can’t say enough good things about him

I'm very grateful for the time my family has spent with Travis in the sea (& out!). Bringing the next generation up isn't just about how to paddle or where to position (although those are necessary), it's also about how we help each other out on the water, no matter our skill level or experience, and how we respect the ocean and its gifts. Travis exemplifies a true waterman, teaching not just technical skills but providing a role model for all the people of the sea.
